Lily Kanter, Serena & Lily

As we are busy getting forms filled out, supply lists checked off and the clothing essentials covered, we love to hear how other moms brave Back to School. Especially when it's Lily Kanter, founder and CEO of the famous all-things-home Serena & Lily. A mother of three boys, Lily tells us “for me, preparing for 'back to school' is all about organization. More than buying tennis shoes and school supplies, this is really where I focus my energy. I try to create an organized space in each boy’s room for their school books and projects, and I aim to make it look as fun and simple as possible. I love our Rolling Storage Crates for this purpose since they are so versatile and playful-looking. We also convert our home office into a group 'study hall' and hang a bulletin board by the family computer to give the kids a place to display the school projects when they come home. It looks cute and cuts down on the clutter throughout the rest of the house!” SHOP SERENA & LILY >
