Growing up in Chicago, spending lots of time on the east coast, and now living in southern California, John O'Donnell had been exposed to all walks of life, from the Midwest farmer to the East Coast prep to the West Coast "dude". The stage was set to build a brand including a "dash" of flavor from all of the above. This "west coast preppy" line appeals to those who desire a classic style but with a twist. The fun is subtle and so smart whether it be the surfboard logo, collar or logo and shirt color combinations. All johnnie-O pieces are tested with care across John’s large extended family.
