I love summer. Later bedtimes, impulsive day trips, farmers markets and time with the family. We travel a bunch—beach, mountains and always a city. Dressing is all about easy, comfortable and nothing too precious because once it's on, anything goes! I watched my favorite Lem Lem dresses run through the sprinklers and they got worn a gazillion times after that. A favorite summer project is to take outgrown jeans (or in our case, ripped knees) and cut them—voilà shorts they love! Lightweight Clover kurtas and Pink Chicken dresses are as great as coverups as they are for out and about. Summer is not summer without our Maxi scooters, they are the best! Our long vacation is in the Adirondacks, so it's layering and fleeces. I have a thing for Patagonia color combos.
