Hadley's Picks

This Spring, I feel the girls getting older. With our weeks filled with more activities, we make time on the weekend to do some family activity. It could be playing our favorite-right-now Kids on Stage for "game night" or a scooter ride around the neighborhood. For clothing, I find this time of year tricky so I'm big into layering. I'm breaking out the summer dresses early, just adding a long-sleeve tee and sweater over top. Camisoles are a great under layer for extra warmth. My youngest loves her knee socks, what were reserved for special occasions now are extra coverage for the legs. Legos, Playmobil and Zylie the Bear are the reigning toys in the house. And as I write, I am packing for Spring Break. I like to bring a few toys, Nano Blocks for the big girls, Spanish bingo, a new coloring book and a ziploc of figures to play in the sand. I just ordered a Patagonia bag and packing us all into one, so we're traveling light, bathing suits, flip flops and cover ups that can be worn for shirts to go out for dinner. Here's to Spring!
