I think with girls you have to teach them early on to take risks and sort of go for it. This book is a fun way to stretch them out of their comfort zone a bit + I'm a huge, huge fan of books as gifts as a general rule.

Audrey's Top Toy in the House. "Currently the favorite thing in our house to 'play' with are all manner of Blank Books. If I give my girls a "fresh" Blank book, they will literally spend the entire afternoon writing a collaborative story complete with illustrations. It's our go-to for squelching boredom."
