Who better to inspire us this Valentine's Day than letterpress extraordinaire and dear creative friend, Courtney Rowson of Sideshow Press? She and her partners create beautiful handcrafted, letterpress cards, one more original than the next. Their work spans a spread in this month's Martha Stewart Weddings to my little one's birth announcement. A mom of two, Courtney opts to send a family valentine to friends in lieu of a holiday card. "Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to drop a little love note in the mail! This time of year is less hectic on the letterpress, so I have time to work on personal projects. It is the perfect way to stay in touch!" Despite the obvious benefits of a mom who specializes in letterpress, Courtney and her daughter enjoy making homemade Valentines. "We break out construction paper, glitter, a little red and white washi tape, glue and dive in! Last year, we attached tiny tissue pom poms to our cards. No two are ever the same!"
