Bronagh Staley, Sweet William

Enter SWEET WILLIAM in Brooklyn and you will quickly realize you could browse for hours. Meet Bronagh, the owner, and you will want to stay for days! Every aspect of the store is an experience from the carefully organized racks to the beautiful birch walls to the curated toy shelves. “I grew up in Ireland, where we wore sweaters handmade by relatives. I gravitate towards traditional looks that have an original and creative twist to them.” After working in the children's fashion industry (which included Fashion Editor at Cookie), she became aware of many “amazing independent creative lines,” both national and international. “I thought it would be a great idea to open a store, where you could find great clothing for your kids outside of the corporate clothing industry.” SEE ALL BRONAGH’S PICKS >
